Two Thousand Fourteen :: The Year of Intentionality

I love this time of year. Not necessarily the chaos that comes with the holidays, but the time in between Christmas and the New Year. It is always a time of reflection and anticipation for me. Reflecting on the blessings, the mistakes, the facts and figures…and looking forward to a fresh new year and the mystery it holds.

This year a single word has been playing over and over in my head. Intention. Intention. Intention.

My entrepreneurial adventure began in 2010 when I launched a tiny skincare company right from my home kitchen. At the time, I had two boys, ages 1 and 3 and I became pregnant with my 3rd shortly thereafter. Most days that have followed, I have felt like I was flying by the seat of my pants. Trying to juggle motherhood and a business and the enormous amount of responsibility that comes with both. Rather than feeling on top of my game, I am usually struggling to catch up and stay above water.

This year, I am determined to live differently. A big part of being intentional is being focused. Focused on goals and values and grounded in the things that resonate with your heart. Two thousand fourteen will be a year of new products, new partnerships, new team members and a fresh creativity. It will be an exercise in holding steadfast to our roots, while branching out to expand our reach. All with conscious intention.

Zoe Organics is a "Lifestyle Brand for the Conscious Family", which means we are about creating and supporting more than dry skin and rashes (although these are incredibly important too!). We have committed to living a life of intention and awareness.

As team Zoe Organics pulls out our new action planners and begins filling in the pages, one thing you can be certain of. We will be doing it with intention. And we truly believe it will be our best year yet.

In what ways will you be intentional in 2014?

xo,
