DIY Room Spritz Using Our Essential Oil Blends

We dare you to do a quick internet search about the harmful effects of room fresheners. YIKES! It's not good. According to an article on madesafe.org:

Often, when someone begins the journey into understanding how harmful these air fresheners in your home can be, they begin to look for healthy alternatives. So, when we set to creating our organic essential blends, a DIY Room Spritz was a must! But what makes our essential oils less harmful than synthetic fragrances? 

Our essential oil blends are made using 100% certified organic essential oils from plants that have been grown with integrity and without harmful pesticides. These oils have been processed without the use of solvents or other contaminants and they are sourced from reputable farmers around the globe who take much care in providing the highest quality oils. These oils are also 3rd party tested which is also so important!

Here is a simple recipe for making your own spritz using any of our essential oil blends. 

Room Spritz Recipe:

- 3/4 fl oz distilled water,

- 1/4 fl oz alcohol (190 proof, 95% ethanol OR Everclear grain alcohol) 

- 8 to 12 drops of your favorite Zoe Organics Essential Oil Blend 

Add these ingredients to a glass bottle with a fine mist sprayer. This recipe makes about 1 oz, but you can multiply it depending on the desired bottle size. Shake well to blend and give it a shake again before each use. 

To use: spritz your freshening spray into the air or onto linens. Depending on which blend you choose, there are some specific uses or benefits. 

Breathe - Breathe easier and soothe naturally with this essential oil blend created to bring comfort while feeling under the weather, or when you need a gentle reminder to stop and catch your breath. Uplifting, grounding, antibacterial, antimicrobial. This blend makes a great cleansing spritz.
